Ingredients
- 7 oz aged cheddar, cut into even chunks
- 2 oz brie, rind removed
- 2 tbsp dry white wine
- 4 tsp minced shallot
- 3 tbsp softened unsalted butter
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 8 slices hearty white bread
Directions
- Put cheese and wine in food processor. Process for 30 seconds.
- Add shallots. Pulse until combined.
- Heat 12 in non-stick skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes
- Butter bread, flip over half and spread with the cheese mixture
- Cook 6 to 9 minutes over medium low heat.
- Turn and cook additional 6 minutes.
- Let sit for 2 minutes for cheese to set
