Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cups milk
  • 3/4 cups water
  • 1 tbsp butter

Directions

  1. Combine 2 cups flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in large mixing bowl
  2. Microwave milk, water, and butter (cut up into small chunks) for 1.5 minutes. Should be able to put your finger in it for 10 secs
  3. Pour liquid into mixing bowl, stir until all flour is absorbed. Gradually add flour until the dough is not sticking to your hands too much
  4. Let rest for 10 minutes covered. Spray 9" x 5" pan with cooking spray. Roll creases out of dough before placing it in the pan
  5. Cover and let rest in warm place for 45 minutes.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 35 minutes or until golden brown
  7. Remove from pan and let rest for at least 15 minutes on a wire rack
